Ella loves to hit play on the remote control of the DVD player to start her videos on her own (when will this independence/control attitude translate into going potty???). She has learned that when we hand her the remote control she should grab it from the bottom so as to avoid pressing any "weird, yucky buttons" that put "weird, yucky Menu options" on the screen that require Daddy a good two minutes to remove. Brilliant.
