Ella and I were on our way after work to get some last minute Christmas shopping done. We decided to give Arnie a call and immediately our plans went out the window. When Arnie agrees to come away from his studies for a bit, we can't refuse him. So, we visited him in his lab, played with Tiffany, and then went to our favorite (well tied for favorite) Mexican restaurant, La Hacienda in Chapel Hill. We did sneak a few minutes of shopping in after dinner, so don't worry! You'll get your present!!
Boy, these postings are real show-stoppers, huh?
One more interesting thing- Ella has taught herself how to walk backwards. She really looks like she's being sneaky when she does it- and then acts completely confused when she backs herself into a corner and can't go anymore. It's pretty cute.
